MODEM

 To be able to connect to the Internet, a network requires a peripheral called a modem (modulator de modulator). Modem is an electronic circuit that functions to convert digital signals into analog (modulated), and change analog signals into digital (demodulation), so that could be transmitted through the channels available. In general, the transmission lines to transfer data in analog form, while the data produced by the source terminal digital form. 1. Internal Modem
