Adding Virtual Memory In Windows 7

One way to improve performance that can accelerate Windows 7 is to increase the virtual memory. Virtual memory is additional memory that can be retrieved from the hard disk space. Windows provides this facility to support the performance of the computer (PC or laptop). By default, Windows allocates disk space according to the minimum limit, but we can make manual settings to add memory virtual space. Memory virtual Windows will be used automatically if the physical memory has been used management by the application windows, even if too many applications are running, usually in the taskbar appears the message "low virtual memory ...." Here is procedures or ways to add virtual memory Windows 7:
  1. Right click on computer icon select properties 
  2. Select Advanced system settings 
  3. Choose Advanced tab> button "setting" in the Performance section 
  4. In the Virtual Memory section on the Advanced tab> click the "change" 
  5. Uncheck automatically manage paging file size for all drives "> select custom sizes> Fill in initial size (MB): 1000 (adjust the capacity of your hard disk space). Fill in the maximum size (MB): 2000 (adjust with your disk space capacity can be larger or smaller than the value of it). 
  6. Click the Set > OK > Restart Computer.
